Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

Ball mounts are metal extensions from trailer hitches that enable a trailer to be hooked up to a vehicle and towed.  To attach a ball mount to a trailer hitch, it needs to be placed inside the opening of the receiver hitch mounted on the vehicle and secured in place with a hitch pin.  Trailer hitch ball covers are available to protect your ball mount from dirt when not in use.

Trailer hitch ball mounts have different length shanks and which you require for your particular vehicle depends on what it's going to be used to tow.  Trailer hitch balls come in a selection of solid colors and even in a camouflage pattern, so you can easily coordinate your ball mount with your vehicle. 

There are several different styles of ball mounts for ball hitches, depending on your towing needs.  Heavy duty ones have a weight capacity of 12,000lbs to 30 tons.  Clevis-style ones are suitable for agricultural and industrial use and are quick and easy to hook up.  Adjustable ball mounts can be lowered by up to 9 5/8 inches, providing flexibility for towing different types of trailers.
